About Dovnixa

Dovnixa is a free tool that helps you upload your photo, signature, thumb impression or handwritten declaration to online forms without errors.

Why I made it

Exam, job and visa forms have strict rules. The photo must be an exact size in pixels. The file must be between two KB sizes. Some forms also want a DPI, or your name and date on the photo. If one rule is wrong, the form rejects the file. Often it doesn’t even say why, and this usually happens close to the last date.

Most free resizers only fix part of this. Many can make a file smaller but not bigger. Many ignore DPI. And many upload your photo and signature to their own server.

The Dovnixa tool handles all the rules in one place. It makes the exact pixel size, keeps the file inside the KB range (minimum and maximum), changes cm to pixels, prints your name and date when needed, cleans up photos of signatures, reads rules you paste from a notification, and checks a file you already have.

How it works

Everything happens inside your web browser. Your images are never uploaded, saved or seen by anyone. The tool makes normal JPG files and keeps adjusting the quality until the file fits the size you need. The main logic is tested with automatic tests.

Keeping the sizes correct

The ready-made sizes come from recent official notifications. I check them again when new notifications come out. Rules can still change, so the page always asks you to check your own notification. You can also type in any rules yourself. If you see a size that has changed, please tell me.

Who runs Dovnixa

Dovnixa is made and run by Chandan Kumar Singh, an independent developer from India. It is free, needs no sign-up, and may show ads to pay for running costs. Ads are never placed inside the tool.
