IBPS & SBI Photo, Signature, Thumb and Declaration Size

IBPS PO, Clerk, RRB, SO and SBI PO and Clerk forms ask for four images in fixed sizes. Pick the document in the tool below, add your image and download a file that meets the rule.

What does the form ask for?

Or paste the rules from your notification

For example: “Signature: 140 x 60 pixels, file size 10 KB to 20 KB, JPG”. Paste one document at a time.

Upload rules

You will get a 200 × 230 pixel JPG of 20–50 KB.We aim for 20,480 to 50,000 bytes. This passes whether the form counts 1 KB as 1,000 or 1,024 bytes.

Your image stays on this device. It is never uploaded.

Already have a file? Check it before you upload

See if your file follows the rules above before you upload it. Most forms don’t tell you what is wrong.

IBPS and SBI upload sizes

  • Photograph: 200 × 230 pixels, 20 KB to 50 KB, JPG. Recent colour photo on a light background.
  • Signature: 140 × 60 pixels, 10 KB to 20 KB, JPG. Black ink on white paper, not in capital letters.
  • Left thumb impression: 240 × 240 pixels, 20 KB to 50 KB, JPG. Black or blue ink on white paper.
  • Handwritten declaration: 800 × 400 pixels, 50 KB to 100 KB, JPG. In English, in your own handwriting, not in capital letters.

These figures come from recent IBPS and SBI notifications. Check the notification for your exam before you upload, because the bodies can change them.

The handwritten declaration

Write the declaration text exactly as printed in your notification, on white paper with a black pen. Recent IBPS notifications use this text: “I, (name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.” Sign below it only if your notification asks you to.

Choose “IBPS & SBI: Handwritten declaration” in the tool, take a straight photo of the page and keep “Clean up the paper” on.

Thumb impression tips

  • Use a stamp pad with black or blue ink and press your left thumb once on white paper. Do not roll it.
  • Take the photo in daylight with no shadow from the phone.
  • Zoom in so the impression fills most of the square. If you have no left thumb, follow the notification’s instruction for the right thumb.

Live photo at the exam

IBPS and SBI capture your photo again at the exam centre and compare it with the uploaded one. Use a recent photo without a cap or dark glasses, and avoid a very different look on exam day.
